"This time, our magic mirror sucks me and my brother, Jonah, into the story of Beauty and the Beast! Hurrah! Or, maybe not".
When Jonah picks a rose from the Beast's garden, he messes up the story. The Beast takes Jonah and keeps him as a prisoner... instead of Beauty! But if the Beast doesn't meet and fall in love with Beauty, then his cu
rse will never be broken, and Jonah will be trapped in the palace forever! And if I don't fix this mess in time, the situation could get pretty ugly . . .

Even though these children are clever and charming their lives are filled with misery and woe. From the very first page of this book when the children are at the beach they receive some terrible news. After this incident  disaster lurks at their heels. In this short book alone, the three youngsters encounter a greedy and repulsive villain who provides cold porridge for breakfast and a long list of chores. What could you do to help the children?
